Chery Tiggo 7, 8 and 9 in Pakistan: Variants, Prices, Specs and Comparison

Chery's Tiggo SUV family has grown quickly in Pakistan. Based on the sources we checked (listed at the end), the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9 are currently sold here as plug-in hybrids (PHEV), each with a single listed variant. We did not find a confirmed petrol-only (ICE) Tiggo with a Pakistani price in 2026, so this guide focuses on the PHEV models and explains the ICE question below.
Important: prices and specs below come from third-party listings and news reports, not from Chery Pakistan directly. Some figures conflict between sources and are flagged. Confirm everything with an authorised dealer before buying.

Are there ICE (petrol) Tiggo variants in Pakistan?
PakWheels lists only PHEV variants for the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8, and DrivePK (May 2026) says Chery's current Pakistan line-up focuses on PHEV SUVs. An older Autostore.pk comparison (February 2026) quotes petrol-engine specs and price ranges for a "Tiggo 7 Pro Max", "Tiggo 8 Pro" and Tiggo 9, but we could not confirm those as current Pakistani offerings, so we do not treat them as available variants. Needs check with Chery dealers.

Price changes in 2026
Profit (Pakistan Today, 24 July 2026) reported that Chery raised Tiggo PHEV prices and offered temporary rates until 31 July for existing customers, subject to stock:

The offer period has ended, and the later listings above do not match the post-offer figures. Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 show lower numbers on PakWheels in September, while PakNEV still shows 14,299,000 for the Tiggo 9 in October. In short, the current price is not clear from public sources – ask a dealer for the latest ex-factory and on-road quote. Ex-factory prices exclude registration, token tax and other charges; PakNEV estimates the Tiggo 9 on-road price at about Rs 14.96 million.

Tiggo 8 PHEV: specs and features
Tiggo 8 data is the least consistent. The PakWheels spec table lists 496 hp and 735 Nm combined, while text on the same page describes a 154 hp 1.5T with a 6-speed DCT, so treat power figures as needs check. Battery size, electric range and charging times were not stated in the sources we read.

Features listed: leather seats, dual-zone AC, 10.25-inch touchscreen with CarPlay/Android Auto, 7-inch driver display, panoramic sunroof, roof rails, LED lighting, smart key, 360-degree view, parking sensors, auto hold, ABS, EBD, ESP and tyre pressure monitoring. Airbag count is reported inconsistently (4 vs 10), so confirm with the dealer.

Boot space is reported as 448 L (PakNEV) and 143 L (PakWheels) – likely different measurement methods; needs check.

Which one should you choose?
- Tiggo 7 PHEV: the lowest listed price, best for small families who mainly want a 5-seat SUV and a short electric commute.
- Tiggo 8 PHEV: the 7-seat option with 4WD at a mid-range price; check power and battery details first.
- Tiggo 9 PHEV: the largest, most powerful and best equipped, with the biggest battery, at a considerably higher price.
Ownership notes for PHEV buyers
- PHEVs combine a petrol engine and an electric drive system, so routine items such as engine oil, filters, brake pads and tyres still apply. Ask the dealer about the service schedule and warranty terms.
- Home charging speed depends on your socket and charger; the Tiggo 7 charging time from a 3-pin socket is listed at about 8.5 hours (10–100%).
